Pomco Presents Sensoria
I believe that helping create a path that results in a better understanding of the process we all work with will move all towards project success. It was with this in mind, that through an affiliation with the Art Directors Club of Philadelphia and International Paper, we developed a graphic art process seminar series (Sensoria) for graphic designers. Sensoria is a one-day seminar presented on separate dates for our customers' scheduling convenience. It is designed as an informative program highlighting ways in which paper and printing impact upon success of graphic design. Designers learn about the importance of paper in design...characteristics of paper and their relationship to design...and the benefits provided by different printing and finishing processes. The seminar is held at our facility and is a tactile, sensory experience seeing first-hand how the assets of lithography, foil stamping, embossing, thermography, letterpress and engraving have on the design process. We will be having our next seminar in the fall of 2005. This seminar will focus on printing techniques for uncoated paper. Look for our announcement or check our website for the next date.
